Alejandro Pino, M.D. | Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon

 

​Foot and Ankle Surgery

 

Dr. Alejandro Pino is a Miami native who graduated with AOA academic honors from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington DC.  He completed his residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital at Miami University, one of the busiest trauma centers in the United States, where he also served as chief resident.

 

Dr. Pino received extensive training in new and innovative techniques in the treatment of foot and ankle disorders at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.  He practiced orthopedic surgery at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center and the Mount Sinai Hospital System with a focus on orthopedic trauma and foot and ankle surgery.

 

Dr. Pino has regularly been recognized as a Super Doctors Rising Star, and was voted Mount Sinai Roosevelt Residency Teacher of the Year for his role in resident education.

Dr. Pino is well published on various foot and ankle pathology and procedures,  and has presented his findings at the national convention for the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
